It's a bit dialogue heavy, but still fairly entertaining and well-made. Looking forward to watching the rest.

There's definitely some pacing issues throughout, so I wouldn't hold your breath — but if you're into wacky action stay tuned!

I love the opening sequence. Very good idea with the magnifying glass and such!

Thanks! I'm glad that it worked. I was a little worried about doing a credits sequence without overlaid digital text, but I'm happy I did.

Haha, the opening sequence is cute. I like how you gave credit to everyone. I am hoping some of the ways that you do credit him are tied into the story (like the cards).

I like the character development in the first part and the use of the fish eye lens.

However, modern technology in a noir film? Are you going for a steam punk twist? I'm a little confused on the setting as a result.

When is the next one going to be released? I'll be waiting.

Great, thanks for the feedback. To answer your question, it's just a modern-day "real world" detective story, so it's neither a classic noir-throwback or a steampunk setting. I understand how it could be confusing, though, and if I had more of a budget to work with it probably could've been cool to do the whole thing as a period piece.

You'll see the next one come out this weekend. Glad you're anticipating it!

Ahh... The person's journal confused me with the word noir. I probably missed all of the other descriptors because I love noir.

You know what's absolutely crazy? I came up with these two characters names and for the longest time didn't even realize the joke until I made the sign for their office. Then it clicked. And I felt silly.
