I think if you sat down and listened to her speaking in this film and then compared it with someone speaking with an English accent you would DEFINATELY hear a difference. I'd worry about you if you didn't

I grant you that it was a Scottish accent that was easier to understand than many. I live in Scotland and sometimes when I talk to people it's like talking to the young MacGuffin character; not a single word is intelligable
Elinor was voiced by Emma Thompson who is English, but I'd say her accent in Brave was pretty purely Scottish.
