Description Mr. Sweeney Todd

I'm not the fondest of this sketch. I had too many problems on Johnny's face to be satisfied now that it's done. Plus, the scanner did a good job of butchering it. *sigh*

Sketched directly from a movie still. Last scene, with demented, bloodstained Mr. T.

It was very nicely done!
If you cropped the picture to the face he could look similar to the joker or beetle juice as the blood would be confused with face paint.

^_^ Thank you! Sweeney's such an interesting character. I'd like to hunt down the original writing of the story and see how it's changed over the years. I imagine the play must have had several changes made to it. Still so wonderful though!

Thank you! I love them both too. Johnny's such a great talent and, really, what can be better than Sweeney Todd? I've been wanting to see this play forever, but it never comes here. One day, perhaps...

yes hes amazing at acting and played sweeney really well! he was very angry but you still felt so sorry for him!

Thank you! I'm glad you like it.

I do have a fondness for clothing - all those folds and shadows and textures! I'm not so fond of hair. I think I have a ways to go before I feel comfortable drawing it. It's an odd texture to get down.
