A quick, quick sketch of River Tam from a photo still of the movie Serenity. It's my absolute favourite shot from both the movie and the series combined. I love the overexposed quality. Shadows make me a happy, happy girl.Now I just need to find a shot of Jayne in his knitted cap and I'll be an even happier girl.
Scanner picked up some graininess and a little glare to the top upper right... still reasonably happy with it though. ^_^

I've yet to watch the movie, but I love how this came out. I think you're right, the overexposed glare really brings all her character and emotion into her face, and you captured that really well. Awesome job. <3

It comes right after a kick-ass fight scene too. The whole movie is brilliant... well, except that two of the characters from the series die. 
The lines in the movie are as spectacular as those in the series. Really wonderful storyline too. You definitely should give it a watch.

I haven't seen any of his other series, but I might have to. I just finished re-watching the whole season the other day. Jayne is overall a great character... =o Next time I watch Serenity, I'll keep an eye out to see.
