I finaly finished my first MLP airbrush, of corse its my favortie Pony ^^The original Twilight is from

First of let me say that this piece is pretty well done, but there is always room for improvement, hence this critique. The description given with the picture states that this was the artists first try and did a darn good job.
Now for the critiquing itself.
First thing that catches my eye from looking at the thumbnail is the color of Twilight's mane. The two streaks in her hair look to dark to me. That's the only thing I could come up with color wise.
The second thing is the linework, don't get me wrong it's a good piece but when looking at the horn you can see lines overlapping. On the lower part of her mane you can see some smudging on the linework, I'm assuming the tape wasn't applied correctly here, so keep an eye out for that.
Third is the piece itself, the picture could have been more intersting. For intstance the rest of Twilight's body could have been added, and her eyes could have been open.
And lastly the background. Nothing to say here, it's your first piece, so not going all out is forgiven.
I'm not to sure about this one but if you look between her left eye (for us) are those droplets forming? Don't spray to much, and not to close, that's what I learned from model painting.
Anyway, keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one your going to make *cough* Applejack*cough*

I'm currently working on the next one (different style and much more better background) and it should be done about tomorrow or the day after tomorrow ^^
PS: The "droplets" came from the finish lacquer, it happens when the spray can gets clogged

I sir, would work with you in drawing but, that'd be a lil' wierd XD
Plus, I really like how you just drew this, instead of making it in gimp or so. I can fairly see that you're good with Paint and even art. Also, I believe most people will agree with me, this is one of the best pictures i've seen in a long time, all of them are just so... so original and boring but this. This is nice, good vectoring dude, I don't think I could do any better! XD

There is not much traditional art for MLP and I thought why not airbrushing pony pics? Although it's much more difficult than doing it in GIMP or Photoshop ( one Pony is about 20h).
I'm already working on my next airbrush pic. It will be up about tomorrow or the day after tomorrow!
