Hi there! I happened to see this picture on a blog, and I really love it! It feels kind of homey and comfortable, but I also love the curious feeling that comes from the twisting and tilting of the bookcases. I feel like I want to jump in and start exploring!
On another note, I'm currently trying to make a non-commercial (aka free) visual novel game of sorts, and I've been trying to find a library picture for a background. Would you be alright with me using this in my game? Of course, you would be credited.Β

What a wonderful place you've drawn. I like the book shelves very much, because they are oblique - almost like a surrealistic painting. The use of the light is nice, because it only lights up the books in the middle of the picture and then leaving the endless shelves in darkness. This effect also gives the picture a rather creepy touch, because what's really waiting in the darkness?
