Wow wow wow!!!! Your books are so amazing! I haven't seen books this interesting and beautiful in a long time! They really look like they belong in a fairytale. Kind of reminds me of the binding on my antique volume of Byron poetry... If I had one of these, I think I'd be afraid to write in it

I was wondering do you do commissions because I really like the gravity falls journal or if not do you have a toural on how to make it

All of my items are one of a kind. This means that I never create the same book twice. It is what attracts commissions.
Thank you for the kind words.

Most of them are from rummage sales, garage sales, antique shops, or I create them myself.

May I ask if you make your books at home or do you work professionally as a bookbinder somewhere else? You have truly spectacular work in your gallery.^^

That's amazing, it must have taken a lot of patience. Do you by any chance have any books to recommend about bookbinding and how to learn this beautiful art?

BCcreativity In reply to sparrowcrazy [2014-05-29 20:56:00 +0000 UTC]
I suggest Youtube for training unless you have money to go to a bookbinding school.

Ah, yeah that might be an idea. I actually found some nice books as well when I looked around.
Actually here in Sweden money isn't a problem as schools are free. Unfortunately for me the nearest (and only) bookbinding school as a very long was away from where I live. But I might be able to get an apprenticeship at a bookbinder in town. I just need to ask him first.
Thank you for your kind answers!
