Description First of all, this is a work in progress. I uploaded it because it's taking me a looonnng long time to complete, and I thought it could use some feedback...
So what's your thoughts on work's in progress? Do you like to see them, or are they just a bother in your inbox? Let me know if you want to follow this drawing as it is created, or if you just want to see the finished product.
Is it a self-portrait? perhaps...I am my own model for most of my works, but whether the work truly ends up modelling me is left up to the viewer...

This is beautiful already!
I would love to see it finished

keep doing it. I like the contrast, but i donΒ΄t know if you will maintain it this way...

The shading at the right part of the face is very interesting, plus the eye that gives a mistery aura.

I'm very intriged by this, I can't wait to see the final result!
(That doesn't mean I don't like to see 'work in progress' pieces, though!)

The fact that it looks unfinished may also add a lot to it's message, so I wouldn't work too much more on this beautiful, striking drawing.

But that's just in my opinion

Yes, I think you're right, I'm not going to work with this much more.
Thanks

I see a mortality theme.

Don't know if thats the desired affect.

Like it alot and yes please for progress.

Nothing you create is bother to me.

Such is the way of December.

All rush, little enjoyment.

The blend of colors used for shading is interesting and quite well done. My favorite part of this, though, has to be the partially finished skull. You don't notice it until you've been looking at the drawing for a couple seconds. When it does show itself, it's kind of shocking.

ohhhohoho you were the first to mention the skull, and I'm glad you approve of it, I wasn't so sure if it belonged.

Very nice start - I look forward to seeing the final. I do like to see WIPs if they are instructional. I usually post mine in scraps though and leave favorites for finals. Barrie

I'm excited to see the final too...and I think posting in scraps is a good idea, if I do post again, I think i'll do that.

It looks amazing. I would love to see her holding a baby, her reason to stay. So many women who get abused by their spouse stay because of children.

I think a baby would work well with this composition...I might do something like that in acrylic on canvas actually... it's a more serious medium for a more serious subject matter. Thanks for the advice
