This is Elementis, a commission done for someone on etsy.

He is a fun hybrid, hippocampus (water), phoenix (fire), horse (earth) and bird (air) hence his name.

He is about 8 inches tall, and his wingspan (if his wings were spanned) is about 1 foot.

He is entirely handmade, from super sculpey, prosculpt, superflex, and epoxy putty over wire and foil. He was painted in acrylics and pearl ex, and has a mane of dyed tibetan lamb fur.

(dyeing the hair was fun, I got red all over the place, my hands were red for days)

He was tons of fun to make. I am doing another commission for the same person of another hippocampus that should also be very cool. That's the fun of commissions, often the person's idea is way more creative than I'd ever come up with
