We galloped as fast as we knew how, out of the clearing and through the trees, as far away from the dark horse as we could. I stayed behind Sonnet, afraid that the black horse had been trying to possess him, like the Shadow had done in the clearing. For a moment, I thought we had lost him; we ducked and weaved through the forest to fend him off.

“I think we can slow down, he’s not chasing us any-"

I felt something on top of me and fell to the ground. Sonnet was a few paces ahead and did not seem to notice; I looked ahead and called to him but saw him nowhere.

the title sort of sucks. I had a million issues with this picture (you can read about them on the WIP picture, which is linked below) but I like it now.

Sender's attacking Lyric. Sonnet doesn't notice because he's possessed and has no idea what's going on. He thinks Lyric's ahead of him. oh noes!

14x17 inches, done with pen (an inky pen I bought, good for fast study notes, lol!) and colored with polychromos and prismacolors. took like 4 or 5 hours, because I had so much trouble making it look right.

I love how the lineart/ uncoloured version looks...
