Description Another dragon sheet, this one should probably be entitled 'attack of the worm beast'.

Decided to have a play with some mixed media on this one, namely pencils and watercolour as the backgroundy bits.

Not entirely happy with it, the firey bits are a bit washed out and not quite right. Also wish I hadn't of coloured in the eye black, but ho hum. Maybe a s a picture it is ok, as a tattoo design it sucks donkey balls.

All good practice anyway!

A3 cartridge paper, karisma pencils, water colour paints.

I'd have to say I am NOT a fan of dragons and dragon tats but this is amazing. I love the look of the different medias and the shading is so well done. The border finishes it off nicely. Very wonderful work

I wasn't a hige dragon fan to start with, but the little fella's have grown on me now after drawing quite a few.

I like the washed-out-ness and the curly smoke. Makes it look more stylized and symbolic and less realistic, which I think is neat. Perhaps not for a fearsome-looking tattoo, but on a bamboo wall hanging?

Thanks and glad you like it. Wasn't so sure myself, but as a picture it kind of works as you can get away with it being more 'artsy' than tattoo-ey
