Yet another sketch falls prey to my late-night coloring practice sessions. This time it's Robin, from One Piece. I wanted to do one of her when she was younger, and one where she looked happy, because she has had such a sad life. Dereshishi!!

So this time, I used 's Coloring Technique, yay! It's the first one that pops up in coloring tutorials. Very interesting, and quite different than the other technique I tried. Probably more useful for more life-like drawings, rather than manga, though. I'm okay with how this piece turned out, but even more so, I'm now extremely aware of my sad, sad lack of light/shadow/depth/human anatomy.

Hence the practicing, though, right? ^^
