First attempt at Noodle! I guess I succeeded
I'm not happy with her hands, boots and guitar... The guitar neck (is that how you call it?) it's a bit too short, I didn't notice until now... but I'm leaving it like that...
Then again I'm still trying to get the character right
I'm thinking of renaming this when I color it to "The Axe Princess" but let's see how it turns out... I'm not doing digitals since my tablet is death... -_-
The colored version... I'll try to finish it by tonight... TRY...

Yup, it looks just like her. The only things wrong with it are the same ones you pointed out. Good job overall. 
On a side note a friend gave me the first album. Which is very cool. While I brought the second. And I finally saw the Meloncholy Hill video. Its very trippy to say the least!
Now I only need the DVD's, the new album and the book.

I just bought the second DVD at specs music in plaza las americas today. They had all of them right behind the music cd's!
But only one of each. There was still the first and the Gorillaz live one left.

Ohh and the last time I went to Borders of Plaza Las Americas which was the same day my book arrived, they had 1 copy of the book! It's in the music (book) section!

It was! But unfortunately they were sold out. They told that the new shipment would be arriving in about a week. Till then I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!

Wow there are more Gorillaz fans out there than I thought! And I noticed that, because I went to Borders the other days and saw a lot of Gorillaz CDs, in fact I could swore I saw all of their Albums there including the D-sides which I want the original one... I had to wait for like 2 or 3 days until my payday, and when I had the money and went to buy it there was nothing of Gorillaz left, except 1 single copy of Plastic Beach... I was like wow... People do like them

In all honesty I think Gorillaz have actually gained alot of new fans. Me being one of them. I have heard of them but never really bothered to listen to their music.
Once I did though, I was hooked like a fish out of water. And I'm sure the same applies to all the others like me.
Its kinda like Pokemon. You gotta have'em all!!!

LOL! I remember when 'Clint Eastwood' came out back in 2001, I was in 9th grade, and I had an obsession of buying CD's and get some new music in my system, and I bought their debut album. I loved it! and still do, although some of my friends thought they were pretty weird... And when Demon Days came out I guess I was pretty busy with other things that I didn't pay any attention to them... I used to have Feel Good inc. in my old PC, but I never bothered listening to the whole thing, then my sister in law loves the whole Demon Days album, and I heard 'El maΓ±ana' on her iPhone, I immediately recognized the voice and asked her if that was Gorillaz. When I went to download the album it was the same week that Plastic Beach came out, so I thought I might as well download it too! and when I saw the stylo video with Bruce Willis I was like %%$#$##$^ Gorillaz being chased down by Bruce Willis???!!!! I have to get into this shit PRONTO!! what have I've been missing??? So that's how I met the story behind Gorillaz

Wow, thats some story!
Now what really made me get into Gorillaz were three things.
The first was a recent drawing by :neophyte-zero: featuring Noodle. In the comment he said she never did anybody harm. At the time I was clueless as to their whole story arc.
The second was one of your recent journals talking about the new video from the Plastic Beach album. And where to find it.
Now the third I guess would have to be youtube. Eventhough I didn't find Meloncholy Hill at the time because it was taken off. I still was able to see all the others, though.
I saw Stylo, Feel Good Inc., Dirty Harry, and Clint Eastwood. But it was the video to Dare that did for me.
So finally I decided to buy their albums. But in the meantime I'll just watch their other videos untill I get paid. Then I saw El Mananaa! Halfway through the video I started thinking to myself "I need this like yesterday!".
The coolest thing I like about the Gorillaz is their originality. There is absolutely nothing like it!

I get you perfectly on the originality! and specially the mixture of different types of music put together, musically speaking it's genius, brilliant and pleasing to listen to their music. I find the combination quite perfect!
Oh and I found Demon Days live at Best Buy near my house 
I even made her watch it with me, YESH I tortured her!!! LOL!!!

I went to the Specs at Plaza Carolina and they didn't have it! I haven't checked in Plaza las Americas yet! But now that you said that I'll go check it out tomorrow if I can, cuz I really want the Live one...

The Best Buy I saw it at was in Caguas where I live. They had like 2 copies of the Gorillaz live but it is a very long trip.
Still, Specs in Plaza would be your safest bet. Its right behind their music CD's.

I put the girl in the title because I've been reading a bit too much of Gorillaz fan fictions and in most of them they call her Noodle girl

It's been good, I got married and graduated from college, I'm moving to the states in a month or less

The end of holidays? wow, summer vacation barely started over here, until August there are no classes. And I hope you get better soon! I also suffer from insomnia... My normal "bedtime" is 4am... until the next morning... It's horrible
