I'm going to admit, I liked 6Teen. I found the show pretty cool and funny. Pretty much the Total Drama before Total Drama.
Nikki was one of my favorite characters, so I drew her for today. Enjoy! And once again, the theme song is awesome, I always sing to it.

I'll admit one thing about the show, it knows how to speak to its audience well without relying on unfunny toilet humor and/or stereotypical generic teen humor that you hear on Disney & Nickelodeon all the time. The only episode I hated on 6teen was that Jonesy and the gang read Jen's diary and everybody gets in on it and they all laugh at her. That made me feel ill watching that one.

Looking back, it's probably a good thing the show ended the way it did apparently right before Bieber clamped down hard on North American music.

I also remember 6Teen. It didn't last long on the air but for when it did, it was alright. Way better than the shows we see nowadays. Nice job.

It actually lasted six years. Cartoon Network just didn't handle very well. It was a GREAT show!

It helps that by the time Cartoon Network picked it up (I believe it was a response to Total Drama Island turning into a surprise hit in America) it was about four or five season in, meaning Cartoon Network could pretty much pick and choose what to air and what wouldn't sail past our more stringent censors and thus would require calling the cast back to redub offending lines, or cut stuff out, or flat-out skip episodes. And they may have skipped a lot of it, Cartoon Network aired episodes so far out of order it was nearly impossible to tell that there WAS any continuity. I guess they were hoping to use 6Teen as a lead-in to Adult Swim, but it was handled extremely poorly.

I found the show to be misplaced. It probably would have fit better with adult swim considering it was aimed specifically at teens.
