An idea that struck me when I saw 's most recent contest. Originally wanted to submit it as an entry but it resembled the original form too closely so I'll come up with another one! Pose reference taken from [link]

In general, Giratina itself is already known to have two forms- the Altered form and the Origin form. I actually intended to draw some formes for Pikachu, but I changed my mind later on. I thought of how Giratina is mostly stereotyped as a Pokemon which is evil, lurks in the dark side of the world, etc. Most of them are linked to darkness and negativity. So, I thought: What if Giratina has another form? A totally different one- the Alternate Heaven form.

Giratina takes on this form when it is given the Rainbow shard. Rainbow shard can be found in an alternate part of the Distortion World which can be accessed inside Turnback Cave where the Griseous Orb resides. There will be two choices for the player; the Griseous Orb or the Rainbow shard. If the player chooses the Griseous Orb, the Rainbow shard disappears and vice versa.

Giratina will still physically be in its Origin form, except for the fact that it experiences certain physical changes and color changes. It's claw-like shadowy wings will turn into a brilliant shade of rainbow, and the claws will turn into wings. The rings on its body will turn into sharp patterns, and it will be mainly whitish-grey in color. The crown on its head also curls around more, and it has a rainbow eye fixed on the middle. This rainbow eye allows Giratina to pick up auras and emotions, much like Ralts' and Lucario's ability combined.

However, all dark type or ghost type moves will be slightly weakened, although its special attack, speed and special defense is greatly elevated.

Trivia:
- It is said that when in this form, a double rainbow will be triggered to appear throughout the whole sky.
- Wild Pokemon will be more attracted to Giratina in its Alternate Heaven form instead of its Origin or Altered form.
- The player's emotions will affect the transparency and brightness of Giratina's wings.
- Giratina is able to engage in telepathy at this form. However, only people whom it trusts will be able to hear its voice.
