Thank you! I happened to see you faved the last chapter to my longest 400+ paged fanfiction of Reader x Mewtwo. That took two years to write. I'm actually planning a dark sequel for it involving Giratina.

I'm pretty happy with my writing skills. My problem is too many stories in a short time period. Funny enough, I can't stop writing Pokemon fanfiction. It's in my blood.

You're welcome! Yes, I did. I really enjoyed your series. I stayed up late reading it even though I had to get up early in the morning. It was worth it. Two years? That's serious dedication and in the end it was worth it I'm sure. A sequel? That sounds amazing! I'm definitely looking forward to it. I love how you write Mewtwo.

Ahh, I see. I always get a bit of an adrenaline rush when I post stories. Then I end up finding typos, oops. I totally get that. It's hard to stop when you start.

Thank you for taking an interest in my writing. Just out of curiosity, what kind of writer would you say I would be? Perhaps I am asking about my sense of character from how I weave my stories. Can you see the narrator's own personality?

No problem! That's an interesting question and it certainly did take some time to think about. You can usually see the narrator's own personality in reader inserts, if you know how to look for it. Probably because in a way it is a self-insert. Logically speaking, in order to make the reader relatable you would add some of your own qualities to the reader, because YOU are relatable because you are human.

I would say you are a passionate writer, more practical than ideological. Pokemon is fantasy, but it's like you add a sense of realism into your stories. It seems more alive than fictional. Like hey this feels real, but I know it's not cause it's fantasy.

At least that's what I think from the works I've read that you wrote.

That absolutely describes me. I like to write about characters who take initiative upon themselves to complete their goals, even when the stakes are high.

The reader in "Chains of the Black Specter" fanfiction is entirely self driven and offensive by nature. I'm trying something different with this new story I'm working on. It's called "My Dear Psychic" and focuses on a girl who happens to have psychic abilities, but she's entirely defensive by nature and has no special attack capabilities. I feel that it would be good to mix it up, since I'm used to writing strong characters with a lot of powerhouse capabilities, and instead I wanted to focus on a character who was weaker by nature and is more of the defensive kind.

I don't think I've read "My Dear Psychic" yet, but I'll give it a read! It's always good to mix up different methods of writing; it's the only way you'll grow as a writer. Writing a character who is defensive by nature can also provide interesting past references as to why she's defensive, or you can play off on several different things too. It is different. It'll be interesting to see how she'll react to a situation. Different reactions.
