*Chaz gets caught way past his curfew trying to sneak in*Max: Where the hell have you been? You have school tomorrow.
Chaz: I decided I couldn't sleep and so I left. No big deal.
Max: It is a big deal if you never decided to just leave before *Tries grabbing Chaz who is obviously swaying only to get shocked* WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?
Chaz: My electric personality is finally coming out. I'm going to sleep see ya.
Max: That's not normal son. I'm going to call the Guard to get you checked out.
Chaz: You know what? Go ahead old man, Call the Guard, get me "Help." I'm sure they will be understanding to the attention seeking teen. DUMB ASS BULL! *Chaz laughs and walks to his room leaving a really startled bull.*
Don't know where this came from. Could be from listening to Nightmare by Set it Off, could be I'm still depressed from getting hit by a drunk driver and breaking the car, could possibly be winter messing with my head, but Chaz was drawn and I learned more about my world.
Drugs in my world are elemental. They were created accidentally by the Tech Region Β when they were working on a way to change the element a person can use, but the result affected not only the spirit network but the mind. After taking the drug and falling into the high a person's aura will turn into the element of the drug, but only as long as they are under the drugs influence. It also affects differant elemental users based off the strengths and weakness system. For example a plant user taking a fire based drug is very strong and can cause overdose very easily where as a lightning user will have a warm high and a fire user won't feel the effects that well. The same applies to alcohol, for example Max's favorite beer is a fire brew, it makes him warm but not much else, where as a Lightning brew would give him uncontrollable jitters and a very rapid heartbeat.
Chaz ended up being introduced to drugs due to his moody isolated nature, which attracted the wrong people. The one Chaz got hooked on is called Zeus, a lightning based drug that not only makes him feel plesently tingly, but gives him a huge confidence boost, and the fact his dad being a metal user can't touch him was a great bonus to him. It also has the strange effect of reversing his Shade. Instead of making him sad constantly he instantly enters his shade form and feels overwhelming happiness, even absorbing other people's if he has no reason to be happy. Needless to say Chaz is well on his way to being a bit of a druggie. Not even Teper knows what's going on and if he does that's something he can't stand. (The man that has wild sex in the school bathroom has an issue with someone using drugs. Something about that is funny to me.)

Well one things for sure, Nightmare is definitely a Chaz like song. In your world drugs and alcohol are elemental!?! That sounds really interesting actually. It would be cool to see what an elemental drink tastes like.

Yep, LIke I said they were more of a way to manipulate and change a person's element, at least drugs are. Alcohol has been infused with elements almost since it's creation due to the process people use. There are still a couple "Normal" one called Void Brews but everything else is embued with an element usually based off of where it's made. For example the Lake makes crystal water brews kinda like Sake, and the Ocean makes salt water brews with fire to purify it they call, well, Fire Water. THe Tropics makes the best wines and fruit drinks due to their wide range of fruits, the Mountain makes earth brews due to how much dust and metal goes into the process, the Forest has very leafy ones, the Desert has rather hard ones (I guess similar to Taquela) and the Savannah has ones that basically burn your body (Max's favorite) and so forth.
Chaz does like Zeus because he's compatible with it (An Earth User is almost completely immune to overdose as long as they are grounded) and incompatable with Max, but he likes the effects more. He's usually completely quiet and miserable, but Zeus makes him a happy cocky asshole.
And no, he didn't dye it. Almost every shade form affects their hair some how. Chaz's hair starts turning white and it falls, it has no strength so that lock of hair jsut went over his face. When Chaz is older and becomes sloth his hair turns completely white when in sloth mode.

Oh, that's cool that every area has specialty brews, though I don't know how great an earth drink would taste if it has dust and metal in it xD And I didn't know that shade form effected people that way, though I should have guessed it changed people physically. Like how I just noticed that Chaz's eyes are black now instead of the usual orangey color.

There are a lot of earthy brands in existence. Made of grain and most of the dirt and metal is filtered out. it's rather bitter but hits like a boulder, and a metal brew would have a metallic sting and hit even harder.
Eyes are always the first sign. White eyes means outward pain. A shade with mostly white eyes like Tech means they are prepared to hurt another person. Sadist Teper has almost pure white eyes. Black eyes means inward pain. Max's eyes are mostly black because his shade does hurt him, and Chaz's misery and Teper's Masochism eyes are almost pure black. Another is a Shaman can see a purple aura, Darker purple is the color of Hidden and Raven, the "Source" of evil in the world.. Not all shades have a hair change or it may not be noticeable. Teper's hair darkens a bit but most people don't notice, and Vlads hair turns red very slowly as he builds up rage, starting from his grey hairs. There are also in existence Shade forms. FOr example Max has bones sticking out of his body, spikes along his spine, knuckles and joints, and the Shades of Sins all seem to have an alternate form. Grill's entire body turns black with all his "Outlines" white since he is a black hole. Vlad becomes almost a complete recreation of a demon when he becomes Wrath, and Chaz's colors turn black and white when he becomes the Shade of Sloth. Angel, the Original Teper and Kuro all had a special form since they were Samil's host, and extreamly strong shades and the Stars can all fall deep enough to unlock a destroyer form. Allen's negative Torments and moods are a hint of his Destroyer form, but his real destroyer form is in Angel's Timeline. Grill, Will, and Ares all seem to be on the path to being Destroyers, and Chaz is pretty close to being a Destroyer as well, especially once he befriends the Demon of Eternal Sleep Zeno. though, Destroyers are almost completely hated and most of the Stars will attack them on site.
