I'm trying to see what program or conbonation of programs is right for me. I started this in class and got 3 done.

Traditional pencil drawing darkened in photoshop- I haven't touched a pencil and paper sense I got my tablet XD

Pros- I have alot more control over the lineart
Cons- Can run out of materials, coloring is a pain, NO CTRL+Z >.<, paper can get destroyed, is very time consuming, easy to permanently mess up.

Photoshop- My dear friend for at least 6 years

Pros- More control over colors and layers, I know this program almost inside and out,can import multiple images onto one document
Cons- Can't do lineart in it, to many possible shading styles, easy to get carried away with filters

Paint Tool Sai- My new friend

Pros- extremely smooth linework, great color blocking, CTRL+Z goes back indefinitely
Cons- I don't understand it that much, alot of the colors came out strange, Have to learn how to draw thicker lines, hard to control shading.

I have other programs that I will be doing later (Like flash, illustrator, and manga studio EX) As of now my technique is sketch in photoshop, line in Sai, color in Photoshop.
