thanks! it took me a while to figure out what i wanted to do in the background.. still not 100% on it, but it works.
cars aren't too hard really, but i definitely think this one came out better than the last.

i had to look that up, but if i understand what your getting at, i do indeed trace off a source image for a lot of stuff. basically takes all the effort of getting proportions and perspective correct out of the equation.
its kind of a cheat, but it beats undo'ing lines over and over untill they look right.. which i do enough of already
of course, if you meant that literally... no i do not trace over live action film to create animations.

Have you tried doing an animation at all though? Think you might be good at it. Just look at that avatar of yours.

haha, actually i spent a ton of time making horrible animated .gifs as a kid. my avatar is sort of a throwback to those primitive mspaint animation techniques.
