i came to the fandom late in terms of drawing gemsonas. And now that the show is over, i feel that it isn't because the fandom still exists and won't be going away anytime soon; and i certainly won't stop drawing Steven Universe either.

like many, i wanted to see what Garnet and Peridot's fusion would have been like; the only problem was what gem would be a good combination for them. the only one that seemed right to me was Zoisite, specifically Ruby Zoisite. i wanted to have a spacey kind of look for Zoisite (Zoi for short) since Peridot is kind of a space girl (especially with the alien boxers and the alien plushie).
