i came to the fandom late in terms of drawing gemsonas. And now that the show is over, i feel that it isn't because the fandom still exists and won't be going away anytime soon; and i certainly won't stop drawing Steven Universe either.

anyways... Marvel in the mystery and magnificence of her most magnanimous majesty...

MORGANITE!

like many of us, i've wondered what Rhodonite's Morganite looked like, as well as their Pearl and Ruby components. i had a design before in Gemsona Maker be she seemed too sweet to me. i started reworking her once speculation about who the movie's villain would be and people statred thinking Morganite would be the villain before it was revealed to be Spinel; she then started to develop heart themes throughout. i finally came to the design you now see and i gotta say I LOVE IT! She was also much smaller as she is a type of Beryl, like Aquamarine, but Emerald is also a type of Beryl so to create some variety, i decided that, in my head canon, Morganites are the tallest of the Beryls. This particular Morganite i imagine as an aristocrat, like Pyrope; i mean, she must have been important to have a pearl AND a ruby. she also has a fan that is in actuality a gem destabilizer and rose gold colored Shattering Robonoid called the Golden Heart that resembles a Red Eye; it acts like the Shattering Robonoids but it also acts as a camera of sorts that feeds footage and info back to Morganite (That's how She found out that her Pearl and Ruby were fusing... And She's not going to allow that in her "court").

as far as Pearl and Ruby themselves, they were harder to design until i saw a picture that ArtwithKODA did of them and suddenly it clicked! so after following Koda's designs but made some adjustments. all in all, i'm very pleased with this design!
