This is a quick drawing for an original Upotte!! character. The Sten Mark III.

The Sten Mk. III is a British-build sub-machinegun that makes use of the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges. It is most known for its appearance in the second world war, powering the British forces in close-quarter combat.

The Sten shines in simplicity and low production costs. Though those traits came together with a terrible reliability. Failure-to-fires and failure-to-feeds were an often case when pollution stacks up. Using the magazine as support while firing led to wear on the magazine-catch over time, making it impossible to feed. But on top of all, the sten was infamous for its accidental discharges. A Sten falling on its buttocks could transfer enough energy to pull the bolt carrier enough downwards to load a cartridge and firing the bullet on its way up again.

I tried to give this character a relatively more adult look in comparison with my previous Upotte!! characters. She would fit in well as one of the teachers at Seishou Academy.
She wears a authentic World War II British women's Royal Naval uniform. Reason for that is that most of the Stens were used by the British Royal Navy as a light weapon was required for the standard Navy unit during vehicle-or other operations.
Due to the Stens poor reliability, she's a big clumsy clutz. Even bigger than L85a1.
As for her role on Seishou Academy? She could be the swim teacher. Instructor on amphibious assault perhaps?
