No, the largest artiodactyl alive today is the blue whale.

(While cetaceans such as whales and dolphins are not normal artiodactyls, they belong to the clade, the Artiodactyla are sometimes termed the Cetartiodactyla to reflect this.)

So that is why, it is said that artiodactyls are generally quadrupeds and the largest member is hippopotamus. Perhaps it might also be better to mention it as the largest even-toed ungulate.

That does not change the fact that whales, not hippos, are the largest artiodactyls.

Actually i only wanted to have one extant artiodactyl in this image and obviously it should be the largest. That is Hippopotamus Amphibius along with some different extinct largest artiodactyls. Bison latifrons is there to represent the largest bovid.(I added the giraffe as an exception even though another giraffid is present.) Gaur is present in the bovinae image. Remaining few others representing the largest of their genus. I didn't added daeodon because i lost that file and some other 13 animals are locked in a zip file which i can't able to open. So whatever i have left, i added in this image.
