"You Cooper's are a bunch of dirty, attention grubbing thieves! ALL OF YOU...THIEVES!!"So few characters left to do. I know I said I wouldn't do any ancestors until Thieves in Time came out but I felt putting Sly's "mother" in the background would be appropriate
I've been taking care to look up the animals each character is, as there are sometimes drastic differences between genders. I was surprised to find that female mandrills look similar to males. The only difference is smaller (average) size and duller colours.

S/He came before Sly. That's all it takes for someone to be your ancestor - is for them to have come before you. Both your parents are your ancestors just as their parents are theirs. It doesn't have to be huge gap of time

No it isn't. The dictionary definition is just something that comes before. Even in regards to sayyy a machine - every prototype that was made before the current one is an ancestor to it. Even the one that came directly before.
I might. That'll take a lot of imagination and I feel like I'd have to do a version of both the normal and genderbent version to really showcase it.
