Mystery Scape, wonderful 3 dimensional feel. I do love intricate detailing, there is always more to discover...

βTo the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you.β
Thatβs Joy Division, from their song Shadowplay. I dunno why but that just popped into my head it somehow seemed apt. The painting is simply beautiful.

Thanks ... Glad you like it!
Ahhh I still mourn the loss of Ian Curtis ... and I had to sell my record collection a while back ... I have lost my unknown pleasures and closer ... thanks for bringing them back to my mind!

Yeah poor disturbed Ian, I wonder whether he decided not to top himself if he would have sung that dumb football song: βWorld in Motionβ, lol. I have to say that I really love the whole JD thing the pounding drums, booming baselines, schizophrenic noise guitars and the vocalβs that are like honey from heaven that has fallen onto the grey Manchester streets. Although I do find it difficult listening to those two studio albums because they are like a black hole, they suck you into this black void of depression, and places in my mind which I donβt want to go. Those lyrics still boomerang around my mind.
Which all of this has got nothing to you with your lovely painting, which is colorful, light and dreamy.

It looks 3 dimensional, as if it was made with papermache. It's kind of neat.

Feels like a satellite shot of an undiscovered country. Very adventurish. Or Google Earth-ish!

Hehehe I can see what you mean ... don't you find it kind of scary to zoom in on your house though ... they can see everything! ... what's it all for??

Yeeeeeah! The worst thing was when I thought:
"Okay, I can see my house. I can see a bus. This is a free software, and open to everyone. What about the stuff that isn't free or open to everyone? They can probably see my shoesize!"
