Description HB and 2B pencil on cartridge paper 16 x 33.5 cms

The horrors of deciding to do a mirrored composition half way through the drawing ... by hand ... and by eye ... I mean, really, I could have made it a whole lot easier if I had traced it or squared up but noooo ...the left side took about a week, the right side took about a month ... one of those dumb things I guess and I'm not entirely happy with it but hey ho.

As I said below - In defence I suggest that mirrored marble rock slabs cannot ever be perfectly mirrored by the time you lose rock to the cut and the polishing process ... well I'll stick to that and do better next time!

You`re ambitious. Some concepts are just difficult. It wasn`t easy to draw it. Even if you`re not fully satisfied, this is great drawing anyway.

Many thanks! Perhaps I set the expectation levels too high!

This is so difficult to draw. You need a lot of patience as well to make it this way, smooth and so neat! I really love it.

This is amazing! And I actually like how both sides are not perfectly mirrored - it makes my eyes go back and forth to see the subtle differences.

Haven't seen anything like this before, i guess that failure was worth it ( in a good way ) , - level up

To correct myself , for me personally - this looks amazing, like an illusion . Chasing something that can't be done perfectly - that is our fuel and drive. Wish you luck with second attempt and thanks for the watch
