Who is also happy for me that I have managed to get 12,000 hits and more to my page.
Sorry for such a later post I had to think of a really nice pic to draw for my 12,000 hit.

...It is Japan-exclusive, sorry. Although, as a Tales game, that's not all that uncommon. Apparently there's a fan translation in the works, though. Not sure what's going on with that right now, but you could search for it if you wanted. By the way, it's for PlayStation 2.
Anyway, apparently the game is about this swordsman named Vague/Veigue who is infatuated with a girl named Claire and he goes on an adventure to stop a band of horrifically racist animal people who want to destroy the human race.
This character, Shaorune, joins you as aerial transportation, after challenging you to a battle and giving Vague some special techniques. Reportedly, he's a very annoying boss, and is apparently a water/ice elemental... but that can be gleaned just from his appearence. He actually interacts with the party after joining through skits, but I'm not sure if he appears in any story events after the battle with him.
Um, I haven't actually played the game myself, but this is what I know. Mostly from YouTube and TV Tropes.

Aha! Tales of Rebirth! One of the most underrated games in America! That game has extremely beautiful graphics.

It's never going to be translated, Namco said so. So... don't count on a UK or US release... the way I'm going... I'm going to learn Katakana, Kanji, and a few other symbols so I can import the game mself, I am a big fan of the Tales Series.
