M was one of the three gods that created a universe, but after a larger universe attacked his, he lost his mind and wiped it out, along with the invading enemy. Upon realizing what he had done, he "cut off" the part of him that remembered this incident, and that alternate personality was named "W" by his friend Key.

SO YUP! Xiraphox wrote a much better and beautiful description in her commission form, and asked me to draw him in a "fallen king" theme that should portray how he destroyed himself and his world, so it inspired me to draw this

This was sooo much fun omg I loved working on it! I was a bit nervous about the colors though but aaah approved so I'M SO HAPPY!

Btw, M innitially had long hair but cut it short after he destroyed his world. Soooo I kinda asked if I could draw him with both short and long hair strands, because I couldn't get rid of the idea that he ripped them out himself

So in any case! This is a very metaphorical picture I suppose! Like the blood stands for destruction and crying/tears, him sitting on the planet shows that he's the ruler of his world, and the breaking planets and the whole shattered effect on the picture convey his "my whole world destroyed" feeling ´////`

/btw can we talk about how beautiful white-haired characters with tan skin are?
