Orihime as a Sailor Senshi for #Hairpin-Heroine's contest!I am ordering t-shirts with this picture on them! If you would like one, they will be $15 each (S&H is included). Send me a note with your name, address, and t-shirt size, as well as your Paypal name if you'd like one. Order will be placed on September 13th, so I won't take any more orders after then!

TBH, I already matted and framed it! It has a nice yellow mat with a bright orange inner mat, and a brassy-looking frame! We're about to move, so it's going to go on a wall in our new place. I was so excited, because I hadn't matted anything since I was a teenager.

That sounds like a gorgeous color combination. I can only imagine the colored mats really make the colors in this piece pop. Ngl, I kind of want to see a picture of it framed.

I love colored mats! My high school art teacher always loved them, so she made sure we understood just how awesome they are. I can see if I can get a picture of it! It's really nice!
Yes, we are! There's a little fenced in front area beside the driveway that's full of gravel, so yes! I'll have a little patio garden there, as well as a big glass door on the other side to put some plant racks by. My step-mother gave me about a dozen little violet plants, so hopefully they'll find a good home there.

I wish I can color my works by hand but I don't have a scanner so I'm stuck with using PS, yet using PS is fine by me. My works take long hours to make each day and I have enough patience.

Using PS is a good tool, too! Especially for backgrounds! I have trouble with it sometimes, though haha.

Ah but it would be incredibly easy if you know what kind of background you have in mind. When you don't have the general idea of your specific background, it would be extremely hard to try to make. All you have to do is picture it in your head and try to spread it on a canvas.
Btw, were both on the same contest so let's see how this plays out.ย

Yup! Most of the time, I have no idea what I want in the background because I'm too focused on what the characters will be doing! This was really the first piece I've done in a long time where I had a clear idea and worked it out before even doing the foreground.
