i've been working on this many many MANY months ago... and finally finished yesterday night...
i really couldn't keep track of how long this took because i kept putting it on and off...
it was SUPPOSED to be a "quick"painting... x_x
i had the most awful time working on his lips... it looks awkward.
my stepdad laughed at his "pimples". i got irritated.
guess there's no use hiding my love for red heads and freckles!
i've always wanted to draw a red hair little boy, but i always ended up making them blonde or dark haired. i went through with it this time... but, like always, it didn't really come out the way i imagined... the Earl of the White Rabbits have a mind of his own. x_x
i want to draw more red heads.

I absolutely adore your style and how you take your time to do all the little details, I mean wow.
Even when the work is a bit bizarre, it has some very realistic things, like the hair. It looks so fluffy and airy that you'd want to run your fingers trough it.
The frills in his choker are very very detailed and I just really love this.

This is outstandingly beautiful. The caring love and thoughtfulness you put into your artwork really brings it to life...I very much admire your devotion to the exquisite world you have created.
The colour and texture of his red hair is absoulutely gorgeous! And the freckles are excellently portrayed, I think. They make him seem all the more sweet and vulnerable. There is a soft tenderness in his facial expression that makes you want to protect him...and don't get me started on his lovely white rabbit!
I could stare at this piece all day long...
