Kind of funny how so many comments are arguing if marceline and marshall like to eat red or pink....I say they eat fries.....or should I say they wanted to eat fries?

in the episode, "Bad Little Boy", before he throws the pastry at Gumball, he sucks the color out of the pastry and the pastry was pink. So, I got the idea that he eats pink instead of red...

humm true, but maybe he eats all kinds of red shades, and pink is just red with white... I think that if he would eat another color the animators would make it obvious and make him eat a totally different color, like blue that is not even closer to red

phew! Im not the only one who knows that marshall lee eats pink and not red! Almost everyone gets so mixed up on that!

Marceline eats pink too. In the song 'I'm Just Your Problem' she says she will "drink the red from your pretty pink face", acknowledging that Princess Bubblegums face is pink yet stating she could drink the red from it. When Marceline
'drinks' the red from a victim she leaves a dull grey behind which could be that she leaves the colours that are not red behind (In the case of drinking pink, white would be mixed in and possibly a tiny bit of black and when black
and white are mixed they make grey). Also at the end of the episode 'Red Starved' Β she does drink the red from Bubblegum's face proving that the afor- mentioned song lyrics were not an empty threat.
