i spent a couple days on this- didn't want it to be such a rush job- but i still didn't spend as long as i wanted to on it- T___T the kanji says "tranquility"
and he's...sleeping or meditating or somethin :3

The lighting is nicely done, but be careful of your use of sharp edge lighting, it can give the image a harshness that you don't intend. Softer lighting on his arms might blend better with the amazing highlights you did on the hair

I love the composition! and the beautiful, soft colors and watercolor/pencil feel of the piece. I also really love his expression and the way you did his hair. so lovely! I just have a question....is "tranquility" the chinese meaning of that character? cause like...in japanese it means "cheap"...but maybe it has another meaning I don't know? just wondering/
