To me, it is his face and eyes that seems to be a little off. While colored beautifully, the eyes seem... not focussed, and almost lazy. His expression is a little 'deer in the headlights' too. Otherwise... wow.

Well damn. This is lookn' pretty sweet

I like...
What stands out most to me is the clothing. The colors were expertly blended with a very smooth feal to it; the folds are crisp, finely detailed, and do an excellent job at portraying the motion and ballance of the character; the way you used the shading to express the folds is a method that I myself prefer, since it always seems to work so damn well XD
The way you did the sticks on the umbrella is very good! Clean, straigt lines, and a complex pattern like that isn't easy to do.
The body tone/muscle structure is perfect! Those muscles are very well expressed, and ver proportionately accurate. Not to mention you seem to have taken the time to do subtle shading for things like the veins, tendons, scars, etc. without degrading the general and broad shading of the larger muscle groups. Very good indeed.
That's a nice little detail with the golden embroidery on his right. What is that, by the way? A plant of some sort, I know, but what?

Critiques:
His right (our left) eye is... off.... badly. The left eye is looking straight at the viewer, but the right one is looking off somewhere else. Combined with the tweaked eyebrow, it's actually kinda' creepy
One (mabey two) of the sticks on the umbrella doesn't seem to connect with the center... just dissapears right before his head starts (it's on our left, just a wee bit above his ear).

wow! I love the folds on the kimono...although I agree the chest size might be a little off? but meh...I'm faving it anyway

I like Kimono too, especially on men. I do spot a few proportion problem. The chest seems too small when compare to the size of his head. I think it might sounds funny but I never been to any art school so I practically observe and learn things from a different prospective.

I really like that one *_* Its got the Aelwine-like colour scheme too. I think its my favourite one out of the ones you posted recently oh and BTW, that note I sent you got kind of cut off short c..c;;

The only thing bothering me is his muscles. The abs and the pecs look a tad bit off. Beyond that, he's great.

This is a wonderful piece indeed. Excellent artwork, great coloring, and nice to see someone portray a samurai without the proverbial unshealthed-and-ready-to-hack-you-to-bit s daito.
