Great-Horned Owl

Probably the most well known owl due to their imagery used in storybooks, these guys are one of the most common owls in North America. They have long ear-like tufts, intimidating yellow-eyed stare, and a deep, recognizable hooting call. They can take on both larger and smaller prey and have extremely strong and sharp talons.
