Some colors over a sketch Joe Mad did of his Battle Chasers femme fatal Red Monika. Seemed slightly criminal that no one had given this piece the color treatment.Battle Chasers has always been a favorite. The fantasy genre doesn't get too much love nowadays it seems (Other than The Hobbit/LOTR that is). Hopefully we'll see more from Joe before too long.
I actually had a brief graze with BC when Adam Warren did a couple backup stories for Battle Chasers, of which I colored one (issue #9 I believe).
Always loved Joe's pencils, their so freaking dynamic and energy packed. The finished product is always nice to see, but I wish there was a pencils only version of all his work too.
But hey, if all we get is a pinup here and there I'll take it

You and Joe working on a book would be such a killer team... The way you get a softness to the colours while making it pop so well is amazing. Seeing that over his lines, and some more of yours of course, would be epic. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!
