My main gal.Kind of got lazy near the end and had no clue what to do with the background but meh lol. I just wanted to get it done so I could update.

This is really cool! I like the pose and flow with the thread.
I want to try and get into SF some time, I only got to try it for a few minutes.
And Eh backgrounds aren't always necessary. I really never add backgrounds, they drain the life outta me hahah. Though you're really good at them Meaghan. It's good to just draw at whatever is your own pace. I've been very lazy with finishing my drawings lol

Lol, backgrounds are totally overrated *flips hipster scarf* I dislike them though, mainly because mine turn out terrible lol. Man, I'm the same with finishing drawings too =/ I have way too many unfinished digital paintings and sketches just laying around, never to see the light of day again lol. And now that my laptop has been sent way to be fixed, the character sketches I had on the go will probably be go unfinished as well.

Hahha definitely. Though not definitely about yours being terrible! Mine have been lacking most of the time and I really want to get better at them though drawing on the computer is a much different feel. I still have to make that trip up to Hali to buy some stuff too arrrgh. You should post your drawings even they are unfinished in yours scraps at least! It's also just fun to get feedback on deviantart I find.

I generally sketch out in pencil anyways, can't draw directly in photoshop for some reason x_x It doesn't work for me lol. But my laptop is fixed! I can start working on things again, first thing will be a new id.

It's really difficult and is taking me a long time to get used to. Buying a Cintiq would be the easy way out lol

Very neat. You still using photoshop for your coloring or did you go to something new? Cuz I am recalling that maybe you dabbled in another program but I can't recall which.

I use photoshop for the line art, but I generally use Corel Painter 11 for my colouring now. I prefer it over photoshop.

Corel Painter, that's the one I was thinking of. You can tell by looking at it it wasn't a Photoshop color job.

Well you can get some pretty detailed shading in photoshop if you know how to do it correctly

Yeah good call, I think it looks awesome without a background! She's such a colourful character that the white background really makes her pop!
