For ~strayheadache 's YAKUZA-themed show in Portland opening TODAY!!!I figured everyone else would be going either the sleazy-leisure suit/pompadour or samurai sword/tons of tattoos/super japanese interiors route, so since I'm not weeaboo I made my Yakuza dude a mod. He takes care of his scooter almost as much as he does his fancy shoes, and he'd rather just bludgeon his foes with a lightweight aluminum bat.

I've seen some mod yakuza films (late 60's early 70's vintage) ... not sure what the titles were tho. I have the worst memory and I'm not much of a movie person (I tend to fall asleep during them) If you know of some, would you tell me the names of them so I can look them up? I'm into all things mod culture and this is a pretty rad take on the theme.
