Done for the 100 Themes Challenge. This time around it was sorrow.All right...back to Beauty and the Beast again. This may not scream, 'sorrow' to you, but I definitely had the phrase "The night is darkest before the dawn" in mind. With that in mind, this I think would be 'the dawn'.
I was imagining that Beauty would have thought the Beast dead here, and not realized what had happened to him. So when he reaches up to her, she's utterly shocked. A quick death to sorrows.
(Just to make this clear guys, he's laying on the ground at her feet.)
This got a super quick color add on in Photoshop...maybe 20 minutes.

Ahhhh, thank youuuu! I didn't base it on his hands per se...but I think the combination of thicker fingers than I usually draw (though those are still damn thin) and the fur cuff and ring. It DOES really look like something from a certain film though now that you mention it...Hrmmm...my subconscious mind is clearly trying to tell us something.
