Description This is a graphite pencil drawing of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. The actual size is 8x10, done on watercolor paper. I used a LOT of pencils on this project, because everything that is black is actually coloured in with pencil (the paper I started on was white...). My scanner did a horrible job when I tried to use it, so instead I took a picture of the drawing. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get an angle where there was no sheen from the graphite, which is why the top right corner is lighter than the rest. Oh well. I am still happy with the outcome

Yeah, I really wish I could have gotten rid of that. Even as it is, I had to darken it with a photo editor...

But if you did then the darker sides would have been even darker, no?

Yes. When I took the original picture the whole thing turned out very light, so I darkened the whole picture as much as I could to make it look as close to the original as possible.
