Bio: (PLEASE. PLEASE BEAR WITH ME ON THIS ONE GUYS… TT_TT I got a little carried away with my writing….. QwQ ) When Asuriel was a little girl, her parents had abandoned her at their own home. They’d left without a warning and never came back. Asuriel was too young to remember them leaving, but they just did. And as only a small child, Asuriel was too confused and innocent to know what had happened to her… So she just assumed they would come back to her… Or they had gotten lost… But they never did come back to get their daughter. The only thing that Asuriel had left was the star necklace her mother had given to her with an A for Asuriel engraved in it. Asuriel stayed in their empty house for four whole days crying herself to sleep each night at the loss of her parents. However… She did learn a few tricks, as she was left alone. The food and anything Asuriel might’ve wanted was on higher shelves; much too high for her to reach…. So she created her own little “ways” Of retrieving food. She would sometimes stack things up, or do a flip or two to reach what she needed.
One day, Asuriel set out to search for her parents, having in mind that if she stayed strong and brave, she would find her lost parents herself… And they’d welcome her with open arms. But… She was only a little girl with no sense of direction or responsibility… She eventually resulted to roaming the streets, often being found by unwanted strangers and alleyway thugs. It was a cold day when she ran into her first street thug; He was disgusting looking and held a toothy grin as he looked at the child. This was the first time Asuriel realized what abilities she possessed. As the thug was about to attack her, she instinctively and quickly reached out a precise jab of her fingers into the guy’s stomach hitting a weak point. Asuriel watched with curiosity as the man froze in his tracks, unable to move, giving Asuriel the opportunity to run. Asuriel later found out, that chi blocking was something she was good at, and used it to defend herself on the streets; where she’d come to live, hassle, and steal for her meals.
At age 5, Asuriel stumbled across an orphanage. She was just walking by when she heard the laughter and voices of children… Like her. She peaked through the cast iron gate to see many children her age playing about with each other in new clothes… Happy smiles, and nice hair. Asuriel tilted her head curiously as she peered at them and watched them for a while until a little boy noticed her staring into the yard. He walked over to the fence with a broad grin. He was a little older then her, but he was still a little kid. “Hey little girl with the dirty face!” He called. Asuriel shrunk back from the fence a little scared of his outward greeting as no one had really bothered to greet her or talk to her because of how dirty and unkept she was from being by herself for so many years. The boy looked through the fence at her smiling. “Hi! Wanna come in and play?” He asked with a goofy grin. “P-Play?” Asuriel asked timidly… She’d never played before… Nor had anyone ever asked her to… “Sure! C’mon it’ll be fun!” He smiled as the boy pushed open the fence to let her in. Asuriel hesitantly took a step towards him. “It’s okay little girl! I won’t hurt you!” The boy smiled. Asuriel looked up to him blinking and then nodded slowly as she forced her shaky feet to move into the yard with the boy. He started to play with Asuriel; teaching her the small games at first, leading up to tag and hide and go seek, and soon Asuriel began to laugh and smile too. She also had attracted the other kids’ attention with her strange appearance and fun behavior. Soon Asuriel was surrounded by children asking her questions. “Hey what’s your name kid?” “Can I touch your hair?? It’s so long!” “How come you’re all dirty? Did you get into a fight??” “Wow you’re on your own?” “You’re so brave!” The kids’ voices all joined into one but most the things they were saying made Asuriel smile at the welcoming she was receiving. All she could do was nod and smile. “M-My name’s Asuriel!” When the crowd of kids around Asuriel had gotten the care taker’s attention, she walked over to find the little girl all dirty and bruised. She smiled softly at her, accepting her. Asuriel was taken in by the caretaker into the orphanage and given a bath, and new clothes. Asuriel loved them and loved having a new temporary home until someone would adopt her; though she never really stopped believing that one day she’d find her real parents and they’d take her home.
Asuriel was greatly accepted as a friend to all the children. They adored her as she played with them often. Showing off all the tricks she could do with her flexibility and chi blocking, which the children found entertaining. The caretaker grew to love Asuriel as well as she had charmed her way into the woman’s heart. However, one faithful day, a strange chubby man dressed in a circus uniform along with his tall and lanky assistant was passing by the orphanage one day and peered through the bars to hear the children chanting Asuriel on as she was swinging on the tree swing by her feet, much like a trapeze performer as she swung off through the air and summersaulted into a perfect standing position, causing the children to fall into cheers. The man and his assistance watched in amazement marveling at what the young girl was able to do… At that moment, the man realized he HAD to have her. He entered the orphanage and requested an adoption form for Asuriel. Hesitantly, as she had gotten a bit attached to Asuriel, the woman complied with the man’s requested and handed him the adoption form. The following day, Asuriel was called out from the crowd of children she was playing with to come to the front office of the orphanage. The caretaker introduced Asuriel to her new caretakers. At first Asuriel was skeptical. But as the ring leader explained who he was and that he worked for a circus, Asuriel grew more interested. “I tell you my dear, you will love the circus! There are lots of animals, fun costumes, and fun people there! The audience will LOVE you! You will be a star Asuriel!” The man said smiling. Asuriel’s eyes widened as a broad smile faded to her face. “A-A star?? Really mister?? I’m gonna be a star??” Asuriel asked excitedly, the man nodded as his bushy mustache lifted with his smile. This was a dream come true for the young Asuriel as she graciously accepted being adopted into the circus for her talents. So with a tearful goodbye to her friends and the care taker at the orphanage, Asuriel was off and into her new life.
Asuriel’s new life at the circus was something she greatly enjoyed and loved. Her circus acts were phenomenal, and the audience adored her. The people in the circus whom of which she’d gotten close to became her family and they looked out for each other. Asuriel loved everything about the circus; the people, the animals, the costumes, traveling, and most of all, preforming. And she grew up in the circus. But again, this was not her permanent fate. One tragic night, there was an accident on the train that they had. Asuriel was off in the city buying some snacks for the ride when she heard some people shouting “FIRE!” Off in the distance. She ran back to the train dropping the snacks she held and her eyes widened in horror as she saw the train was on fire! She fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face as the flames engulfed everything… All the people inside… Her family… Gone. She then saw 5 armed and light weight men scrambling away from the scene carrying money and supplies stolen from the train… Asuriel’s eyes filled to the brim with hatred and a burning desire for vengeance. She ran after them, with her speed and agility she was able to catch them quickly. It didn’t even matter to her that they fought back… They would lose… They would pay… For taking everything from her…. She did her chi blocking on them… But instead of using the ability for defense or for show, she used it to take them down… One by one she blocked them and drove blow after blow at them. Even when they stopped moving, Asuriel hit them… She was angered behind prevention now… She was too gone… She wanted them dead for the death of her family… She had not held back that day until blood soaked her fists. She stopped once she’d realized what she had done and backed off…. She fell to her knees crying and continued to cry as the flames burned ever brighter into the night.
The following Day some investigators found Asuriel at the scene of the crime, with bodies piled close to her. One of the survivors of Asuriel’s attack told the investigators that Asuriel was to blame, and the girl was arrested and put into jail for murder. Asuriel changed after that. The years she spent in prison tore her apart… She went back to her normal patterns of crying herself to sleep arose from her past and haunted her as each night, she dreamt of all the faces of her family members she couldn’t save. And then the bloody faces of the ones responsible for their deaths… She quite often screamed out in sleep. Being in prison had also changed her… She wasn’t happy anymore… She was sad, lonely… and rarely smiled like she used to. She frowned and growled and she was bitter. She didn’t want people to touch her, and quite frankly the guards were afraid to because of how easily she could chi block them and take them down. But one day… Asuriel had a visitor. He showed up dressed formally as he peered through the cell doors at Asuriel who was hugging her knees closely as she sat on the bed. “I have heard things about you young lady… Things that you can do that others can’t… Impressive skills that took down a whole gang in a fiery rage? Would that be you… Asuriel Ayres?” The slithery sneaky voice said to her with an evil smile. Asuriel looked up at him. He was about her age too. Her face was tear stained as she met his gaze. “What do you want?” She asked with a cold bitter glare. “Why… I want you, my dear Asuriel. I want you very badly. I think you could be quite the asset to my little… team.” He said in a luring tone as he peered through the bars at her. Asuriel buried her face in her knees not looking at him. “Why would you want me?... I’m not really special. I’m a murderer…. My abilities are nothing out of the ordinary.” She mumbled talking herself down. “Oh but you are. I have done my research on you Asuriel. I believe your very special. And amazingly talented. I must say I have become rather infatuated with you. I don’t understand why they would lock such a pretty girl up inside a stony harsh place like this…” The man sighed shaking his head. Asuriel looked up at him sniffling. “Y-You think I’m…. Pretty? Talented?” She asked softly. The man nodded with a devious smile as he lured her in with his words of flattery. “Indeed. Please Asuriel… Say that you will join me and help a little… project I’m doing, and I will grant you your freedom.” He said outstretching his hand through the bars. Asuriel looked at his hand and hesitated, but slowly, she reached out and accepted his deal.
Like the man had promised, Asuriel was set free. And how she’d been locked up for so long and treated like a monster, a freak… This man accepted her… Made her feel loved again, and granted her freedom. Therefore she was loyal and grateful to him. However… He was not the good person he claimed to be. The project he worked for was actually a gang that roamed the streets full of skilled fighters and bounty hunters. Asuriel quickly became accustomed to the business of killing and stealing as Snake, the name of the man who set her free manipulated her feelings and made her do his bidding. And since she was so loyal to him, she’d do anything he asked of her. She killed, stole, went after whomever and used her chi blocking skills to get what she wanted; what snake wanted. She worked her rank up inside the gang to being the most skilled and dangerous of the bunch. And got special attention from Snake as she was his puppet… But Asuriel, was in love with Snake, unknowing of how Snake was only using her. The gang all knew this, but none could convince Asuriel… Snake was the only thing Asuriel had left to care about, and believed so very much that he loved her like she loved him. But Asuriel was simply Snake’s weapon.
One day Snake had tagged along on one of the gang’s bigger missions. A party for the rich and higher ups of the city were gathered in a large building for a ball. Asuriel was placed at the top floor where she was to take out the son of a very rich man. The boy was only a child though, and Asuriel, as cold as she had become was torn between doing what her beloved Snake wanted her to, and what was just wrong… Asuriel had the boy cornered and was about to finish the job before the boy trembled and begged her to let him go. It saddened Asuriel and she wavered a bit. But when Snake came up into the room to see what was taking so long and saw Asuriel’s hesitation he came up beside her. “What are you waiting for Asuriel?.... Kill him. Do it now,” He paused. “Don’t you love me?” He asked her. Asuriel’s eyes widened as she heard him ask that… And with a gulp, she completed the dark task. “Of course I do… I love you Snake.”
This wouldn’t be the only night that Asuriel had hesitated. In fact… She was doing it a lot more often, she was growing soft. And when Snake realized his little weapon was losing its luster, he was not happy. He sometimes when she didn’t do something he asked, he would hit her. Or threaten her into getting her to do what he wanted. And even though he was so terrible to her and evil, Asuriel was still hopelessly in love with this man… She could not escape it. One night before he had gone to bed he had called Asuriel to his bedroom to have a “talk” with her about her recent mess ups. He glared at her as he sat at the foot of his bed in his boxers. “Asuriel. Are you aware of your recent failed missions? Why are you disobeying me?” He asked in a steely tone. Asuriel trembled some and looked away from him. “I-I’m sorry Snake… But…. I just… I don’t think that what we’re doing… I don’t think it’s right anymore…” She said shamefully as he admitted what she’d been thinking for a while now. “You don’t think that its right?!” He growled standing up. Asuriel trembled dropping to her knees crying. “I-I’m sorry! I won’t mess up again! I promise!... I only wish to make you happy! I’ll do anything you want me to! Anything!” She sobbed. “D-Don’t hit me…” Snake looked down at the sobbing girl and narrowed his eyes. “…Anything?” He asked. Asuriel nodded. Snake walked over to her with his narrowed expression and yanked her to her feet by her hair. Asuriel cried out in pain. “Tell me Asuriel… Do you love me? Do you want to make me happy? Do you want to please me? You’ll really do anything I want you to?” He asked looking into her eyes. Asuriel shakily, nodded. Snake smirked. “You are loyal to me aren’t you?” He chuckled evilly. “Say you are loyal to me, wretch!” Snake growled angrily his hand moving around her neck. Asuriel gasped choking slightly. “Y-Yes!! I-I am L-Loyal to you! My L-Love!” She choked crying out as she was afraid to say otherwise and face one of his hits. Snake smiled at her evilly as he snickered lowly into her ear. “Then give yourself to me…. Asuriel.” His hand wandered down her side lustfully as Asuriel shut her eyes tightly awaiting her punishment as tears poured from her eyes.
That was how it was for Asuriel… She was Snake’s sick little doll; Either she did exactly what she was told, for if she didn’t she would receive more… “Punishments” from Snake, who left her feeling used and bruised on the inside and out. She always did what he asked of her… She dared not to disobey Snake. EVER. One day their gang was going to receive a pick up payment from the Baldwin family that they had been hassling for money. Snake was doing the interrogating as Asuriel brokenly stood by his side staring at the ground. She heard them talking; and heard the parents pleading to Snake about the payments overdue they had. They weren’t able to pay on time… With a heavy and depressed sigh, Asuriel realized Snake would send HER to take care of the issue. And so he did. He ordered Asuriel to take out one of the sons of the family as a warning to pay on time. Asuriel accepted the order with sad eyes. The following day, Asuriel set out to execute her task. She broke into the house with ease and was able to find and locate one brother that she thought was the only one home. She had cornered him when she darted towards him and chi blocked him stiff; all that was left to do was hit his main organs. It saddened her and she never forgot the terrified look on his face… But she was too scared… Too scared of Snake… too scared to be abused again. So she did it and killed him. Her eyes widened as she heard another voice inside the house… There was someone else home… Asuriel quickly scampered out of the house before she was discovered by the second brother; Cordell Baldwin. (GotManyHorses)
After Asuriel had killed the brother, she’d been having thoughts… Thoughts like…. Why was she still here? Why was she in this cage that Snake had locked her inside? Why did she have to BE a weapon? Why couldn’t she be a normal person with freedom, and enjoy life’s gifts without standing out so much? Her loyalty wavered for Snake. She started to doubt him, and rebel against him. Why did she need to listen to him? Why did she need him to build her up with his words of flattery? She didn’t need him! Nor did she EVER need him! She was strong and brave on her own! She didn’t need Snake or his stupid gang! One day, Snake was in his room watching the security cameras in amusement as they were hooked up to his TV allowing him to see how the current mission was going. He laughed evilly as he watched his men slaughter the ones the were told to slaughter. Asuriel stood by his side with a downcasted expression. “Asuriel! Look at this! They are complete idiots!! Haha! Their getting slaughtered by our guys!” Snake laughed in amusement. Asuriel glared at the TV unamused. “I suppose so sir.” She grumbled. Snake’s laughter died away as he frowned at Asuriel. “You addressed me as sir….” He said with a brow raised as he narrowed his eyes; not liking Asuriel’s change of emotion. “Well you are not a mam, are you?” She asked looking at him with spiteful eyes. Snake’s eyes filled with anger as he looked at Asuriel. “What did you say to me?!” “I’m sorry Snake… Did I stutter?” She said glaring at him unafraid. At this, Snake rose to his feet and threw a punch at Asuriel into her face. Asuriel took the hit grasping her cheek as her mouth bled slightly. She still glared up at him. “You poor poor thing…” Snake whined sarcastically as he smirked and lowered himself down to her and ran a hand over her now bruised cheek. “I’m sorry my dear, but you know the punishment for disobeying me… You haven’t been a very good girl recently. You have made me very unhappy Asuriel…. Don’t you love me?” He asked feeding her the same lies he always did as he pinned her to the wall, his face inches from hers. “Say that you are loyal to me Asuriel… SAY IT.” He demanded through gritted teeth. Asuriel panted and whined in pain as her long brown bangs shadowed her eyes. She then looked up to Snake with a dark glare. “NO. I’m not loyal to you!!” She growled as she promptly brought her foot up and landed a hard kick to Snake’s… Lower quarters. “OWWW!” He cried out backing off her and stepping back with a pained and raged look in his eyes as he glared at Asuriel. “YOU BITCH! I’LL KILL YOU!-“ But before Snake could even finish, Asuriel had leaped to her feet and was darting at Snake quickly as she delivered several chi blocks to his mid-section, legs, and arms. He was frozen in place as he could not move. He grunted softly glaring at her. “How could you do this Asuriel?... You are mine… You live to serve me… YOU BELONG TO ME! I AM THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU!” Snake grunted angrily. Asuriel glared at him harshly at his last comment and quickly brought her hand up to smack him across the face. Snake’s eyes went wide as he looked at her surprised she was even capable of doing that to him. Asuriel was a bit surprised at her own actions as well… But her face was locked in a hard glare as tears poured from her eyes. “No you don’t! You never loved me and you know it…. You only loved my abilities… You used me and that was it… Well you made a mistake Snake.. I don’t belong to anyone! And I certainly do not belong to YOU!” She growled sniffling. Snake narrowed his eyes at her. “What are you going to do then? Kill me? Then where will you go?” Asuriel paused for a moment as she thought about it… Being free… Having her own life… She smiled and returned that smile to Snake. “I’m not going to kill you at all. I’m never going to kill anyone ever again. I’m going to start over. And I’m finally going to be free. I’m going to use my abilities for good. And I won’t ever be controlled like this again.” She said to him as she turned to the room door. “I’m going to live.” She smiled at Snake as she exited the door to his room for the last time, and walked out into the world as a free person, wanting to go out and see things, learn new things, be free and see just what the free world had to offer her.
