It's incredible that these animals were BEARS. They look so unusual by bear standards, and it's truly bizarre how much they have diverged from other bear genera anatomically.

That's taking the term "bear-dog" a tad bit too literally!

Again, you chose a wonderful background and you did a great job in the composition and shading! Very good!
By the way, where do you get your photographs from (Or are they self-made)

Many thanx for the comment
Backgrounds often have to sew a different pictures. But I try to use their photographs. But I try to mostly use my photomaterial. For example, a photo for the background for this Plithocyon I did last summer. Of course, trying to plant and the environment somehow corresponded to the time and place of living of the animals.

You're welcome!
Yes, my backgrounds are often made out of different phographs (the most recent one out of four!), so I rarily have all photomaterial made by myself, although I do take a lot of photographs in the summer when I'm in Italy or Spain. Where was this photograph taken, actually

This photo was taken in the suburb, near the Donetsk (Ukraine). But the trees - Boxelder Maple - endemic to North America, once imported to us (now propagated by self-seeding and growing everywhere). In the frame has got several branches of ash-tree - these trees are everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, since the Oligocene time.
