Description
Twink managed to send the Shuppet packing and inhabited the toy himself. After taking a few minutes to get used to a body that gravity had effect on, he was ready to roll. With a reverent bow he made his way to where the racing ceremonies were going to take place.Rosalina was there, along with Gary and Stanley. Stanley and Rosy were still fighting it out, but ceased when Geno approached her. Rosalina took a long look at the blue and yellow caped doll and many memories came back to her.
She thought back to when Star Road was destroyed by Exor and Smithy. She had to clean up the mess they caused and sent her most powerful and beloved star spirit to help Mario, Peach, Bowser and Mallow set the world right again.
Knowing this may have been Twink's plan, she decided to relent and let Gary and Stanley be partners for the Mario Karting tourney. She was satisfied with her new partner and they registered as 'Rosalina and Geno.'

It's also good that Geno's got something to do now. It's too bad Square-Enix has the copyright to Geno's character and won't let Nintendo use him for anything after "Super Mario RPG."

I saw the Geno doll make a cameo in the mini game, but I didn't consider it an 'actual' appearance, but you're right though.
I guess it could be considered that this isn't the real Geno here in this story either, as the doll's been posessed by a different star spirit.

It would be nice if they announced a new Mario RPG with Geno though.

Nintendo and Square-Enix did do a couple of other games together since the debut of the Playstation, though I believe the game in question was a Mario Basketball game.
I don't know what the potential drama was between Nintendo and Square was in regards to Geno...I'm certain there was an issue/question in regards to Geno and Super Smash Bros since so many people talk about it on the net.
