Description Since Gary lost his old hat in the lava while he fought alongside Mario and Luigi against Bowser, the Bros decided it would be proper to get Gary a new hat.

This new hat however was not the same as Gary's old pink ballcap. It was an official Super Mario Bros hat. As Gary received it, he swore that from then on he would give Mario and Luigi his very best in all the adventures they would go on therafter.

Meanwhile in her astral observatory, Rosalina was watching the whole little ceremony through scrying magic. Twink was with her as they talked about Gary. Twink had a feeling that Rosalina knew all of this was fated to end this way, but Rosalina insisted she had no idea. She however was happy to see Gary has grown into his role and will be a good ally for Mario and Luigi.

Actually, it does exist in canon. It's actually an evil artifact from Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. In this story however, Dark Star is the root of evil wishes and desires in the Mushroom World.

Long story short, Gary's a fan character. Most of my Mario collection consists of a series that introduces him into this Mushroom World. It's getting to be a rather complicated story.

Gary can be quite vain sometimes and worry about the silliest things when it comes to his looks. It's true though, he has been added to the roster of people willing to save the world.
