The shading and detail is amazing. Its simply stunning to look at. Your colors are bright and true as ever and your artwork is still wonderfully good. Yay.

I loved this from the moment I saw it in my message center! It's gorgeous. I really admire both this artwork and the accompanying tutorial. It's so cool how you show the form of the petals so realistically with seemingly so little effort. The texture is so appealing and real despite the fact that it isn't hyper-detailed. I really want to learn how to do this for myself.

Thank you for both the gorgeous artwork to look at, and the helpful tutorial!

Thank you! I'm thinking of doing another one soon, noticed some hibiscus photos I took when ~kitten42 brought home a giant wine red one.

Thank you! That's great to hear. I love Aquatones too, and the set was one of the best investments I ever made in art supplies. They are so handy and the pencils are so very long, full length, all pigment, you can't go wrong when even the shortest stub is still usable as pan watercolor!
