Description
I'm not sure who designed this version of the Enterprise. It was either Ken Adams, or Ralph McQuarrie.It was built into a small mockup model, By makers unknown.
I caught a small shot of it somewhere, and here she is.

That's the original design for the refit of the Enterprise had "Phase II" made the small screen. I used to have a Starlog magazine with sketches of it in an article about what Phase II would've been like.

Interesting design, aside from the strange shape randomly sticking out of the saucer section which I assume to be the bridge I could have lived with that

Yeah, a lot of weirdness on this design. Also, seen from the back, the secondary hull is very triangular.

The lower hull is a little SW Star Destroyer, but as I say the overall design is something that would have worked for the series
