He looks like a clown. :[ I am not familiar with Homestuck so I don't know if he's supposed to be silly or not, but I do like that hatching and cross-hatching!

He's a profoundly silly character: [link] Not just a clown, but a *juggalo* (or some kind of time travel paradox proto-juggalo), which is like twice as bad.
Gamzee is probably the only likable, sympathetic juggalo in all of fiction. Or at all, possibly.
