Nope. A royal orb is a symbol of the ruler's power over the secular world. ("She's got the whole world, in her hands, she's got the whole wide world, in her hands..."). Christian kings/queens would have a cross on top of the orb, to show that their authority over the material world was assigned by God.
The orb held by Empress-in-waiting Feferi has the symbol of a troll-home, representing her dominion over the troll's homeworld. I suspect when she ascends to the Imperial throne, she will have another orb representing her dominion over the Alternian Empire.
Look up "globus cruciger," and you'll notice the one that is in England's Crown Jewels is what the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch is based on.
