Description The original Starcraft is by far my most favorite game of all time. The reason? Hydralisks. I remember the first time I hatched one of these from my zerg hatchery; it was like love at first sight, and since then they've always held a special place in my heart.

As many of you know, I do not really have a "character" that I would call my own. I guess I don't really feel the need to translate my personality into another physical form; I am who I am and that is all you need to know! However, the closest I've come to making a "character" for myself would be the Bone Hydralisk image I drew a few years ago; it's basically a combination of the three things I like the best: hydralisks, peaches, and bones. People often refer to that as my character, and you know, I'm okay with that. But if that is the case, the bone hydra I drew back then doesn't really reflect what a bone hydralisk should be.

Alive, hydralisks are the ultimate killing machines. They can shoot from afar or slice you up close; they can regenerate health and require massive amounts of firepower to take down compared to their strength. They are a perfect blend of speed and death and are incredibly powerful in mass. A bone hydralisk, therefore, should be just as terrifying. If I was to really make the bone hydralisk my "character" it would be more akin to this; realistic in its proportions and incredibly terrifying to run across.

At least, underneath it all, it'd still be lovable and cute... if you lived long enough to see it. >

Heheheh, I like it. And you definitely know what you're doing; the shape and posture of the head and back carapace is spot-on, unlike most of the hydralisk fan art out there. Good job.

Thanks! I've drawn a LOT of bad hydralisks, so its about time I was able to draw a good one!

... Except it'd be even more vulnerable to Siege Tanks.

Cute picture though. Although if it was your "character", I wonder how it would draw.

I'm not so sure! I mean, it could probably pull itself back together once the seige tank was through with it, assuming that the blast scattered its pieces more then blew them into teeny tiny bits.

And if it was my character, it would draw very carefully. >.>

And by carefully, I mean like this! [link]
