I think this particular collage is very "not you" because of the strong colors rather than your subdued palette. I love the way the metal handle looks like a flower! No doubt it is part of the continuous bouquet.

contrast between the playing card , masking tape and squared paper compared to colorful images and texts is great ,
but for some reason they fit in the same picture so well - one thing is lines drawn with pencil , organic lines connecting the different artificial parts

thanks, Markus. yes, i put those pencil lines on early in the work, and they helped me get the feeling for where it was going. some of this one was done very quickly and other parts with deliberation - it all seemed to balance in the end.
