Change of pace! A normal girl! Scandalous.Possibly the most effort I've put into a background so far... At least, it's more than my usual scribbley mess/bedsheets.
She actually didn't have glasses at first. I'm not particularly a meganeko fan, but I thought she looked better with them. I did make them easily removable though C:

How do you get your line art to look so fabulous? It's not just black but ... it's like it melds into the person ... it's so well drawn .. if that makes sense. ^^'

After coloring I go back and tint the lineart to match the colors. It makes the edges appear softer.

I see. And how do you do that, if you don't mind me asking? Sounds like a lot of work to tint line art. X//x You dont make all of the line art a different colour, like a gradient effect or something? X//x

If I'm feeling lazy I might just make the whole thing one color, but usually I just take the brush and go over it (with the opacity lock on) using a dark shade of the inside color. It's really loose though, so it's not necessary to worry about getting the colors perfect, as long a it's not just black.

Great composition! I like the pose and the expression on this girl's face. Plus, it's obvious how much attention you've put into the background by how easy your character fits into it. Everything just 'clicks'. Very nice.
